Frankenstein

In-fiction date: 8/5

On August 5, Walton's Arctic expedition spots something extraordinary from the ship: a sledge drawn by dogs, crossing the ice to the north, carrying a figure of gigantic stature. The following morning they find a second sledge adrift on an ice floe, its dogs dead and one man remaining — nearly frozen, his frame wasted, but refusing to board until he knows which direction the first sledge was heading. His name is Victor Frankenstein, and he has been pursuing his creation across the ice for months.
