In the Woods (2008)

On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 14, 1984, three twelve-year-olds — Jamie Rowan, Adam Ryan, and Peter Savage — tell Mrs. Savage they're going to play in the woods of Knocknaree, County Dublin, and vanish. When police find Adam Ryan at 10:20 PM, he is pressed against an oak tree in catatonic shock with his sneakers soaked in blood and no memory of what happened. The other two are never found.
