The Truman Show (1998)
12/16 · Peter Weir
After sailing alone through a painted sky, Truman Burbank's boat strikes the wall of the dome — and he discovers that the horizon has always been a backdrop. Creator Christof speaks to him from the heavens, urging him to stay in the world built for him. Truman takes a bow, delivers his sign-off — 'In case I don't see ya: good afternoon, good evening, and good night' — and walks through the exit door into the real world.
